PELANTIKAN DUTA BESAR DAN PESURUHJAYA TINGGI MALAYSIA YANG BARU
Lapan (8) orang Ketua Perwakilan Malaysia yang baru telah menerima Watikah Pelantikan daripada Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah di Istana Negara pada hari Selasa, 7 Januari 2014.Ketua-ketua Perwakilan tersebut adalah seperti berikut:
Dato’ Ahmad Rasidi Bin Hazizi
Bakal Pesuruhjaya Tinggi Malaysia ke United Kingdom
Dato’ Ahmad Rasidi Bin Hazizi telah berkhidmat di Kementerian Luar Negeri sejak tahun 1979. Beliau pernah menyandang beberapa jawatan penting antaranya sebagai Ketua Protokol, Kementerian Luar Negeri dari 2009 hingga 2011, Duta Besar Malaysia ke Filipina dari 2006 hingga 2009, Duta Besar Malaysia ke Lao PDR dari 2004 hingga 2006 dan Konsul Jeneral Malaysia di Hong Kong SAR dari 1998 hingga 2002. Beliau juga pernah berkhidmat di beberapa Perwakilan Malaysia di luar negeri termasuklah di Amerika Syarikat, Indonesia dan Turki. Sebelum dilantik sebagai Pesuruhjaya Tinggi Malaysia ke United Kingdom, Dato’ Ahmad Rasidi menyandang jawatan sebagai Duta Besar Malaysia ke Kazakhstan.
Encik Amran Bin Mohamed Zin
Bakal Duta Besar Malaysia ke Turki
Encik Amran Bin Mohamed Zin telah menyertai Kementerian Luar Negeri sejak tahun 1994. Jawatan-jawatan penting yang pernah dipegang beliau adalah sebagai Timbalan Ketua Perwakilan di Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Jakarta, Indonesia dari 2008 hingga 2010 dan Timbalan Wakil Tetap Malaysia ke Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu (PBB) di Geneva, Switzerland dari 2004 hingga 2008. Beliau juga pernah berkhidmat di Perwakilan Tetap Malaysia ke PBB di New York, Amerika Syarikat dari 1996 hingga 2001. Sebelum dilantik sebagai Duta Besar Malaysia ke Turki, Encik Amran menyandang jawatan Setiausaha Bahagian Asia Tenggara 1, Kementerian Luar Negeri.
Dato’ Mohd Zulkephli bin Mohd Nor
Bakal Duta Besar Malaysia ke Switzerland
Dato’ Mohd Zulkephli bin Mohd Nor telah dilantik sebagai Pegawai Tadbir dan Diplomatik pada tahun 1984. Sebelum dilantik sebagai Duta Besar Malaysia yang baru ke Switzerland, Dato’ Mohd Zulkephli telah berkhidmat sebagai Duta Besar Malaysia ke Turkmenistan dari tahun 2011 hingga 2013 dan Duta Besar Malaysia ke Libya dari 2009 hingga 2011. Beliau juga pernah ditugaskan di Perwakilan Tetap Malaysia di Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu (PBB) di Geneva, Switzerland dan di Konsulat Jeneral Malaysia di Los Angeles, Amerika Syarikat.
Ambassador Kennedy Jawan
Bakal Duta Besar Malaysia ke Sepanyol
Ambassador Kennedy Jawan telah berkhidmat dengan Kementerian Luar Negeri sejak tahun 1989. Beliau pernah menyandang jawatan penting antaranya sebagai Penasihat Kedutaan di Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Washington D.C., Amerika Syarikat dari 2002 hingga 2005 dan sebagai Setiausaha Pertama di Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Yangon, Myanmar dari 1995 hingga 1999. Beliau juga pernah berkhidmat di Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Tokyo, Jepun dari 1992 hingga 1995. Sebelum dilantik sebagai Duta Besar Malaysia ke Sepanyol, Ambassador Kennedy Jawan bertugas sebagai Pesuruhjaya Tinggi Malaysia ke Afrika Selatan dari 2008 hingga 2013
Dato’ Hidayat Bin Abdul Hamid
Bakal Duta Besar Malaysia ke Kazakhstan
Dato’ Hidayat Bin Abdul Hamid telah berkhidmat di Kementerian Luar Negeri sejak tahun 1992. Beliau pernah menyandang beberapa jawatan penting antaranya sebagai Konsul Jeneral Malaysia di Jeddah, Arab Saudi dari 2007 hingga 2011 dan Penasihat Kedutaan di Suruhanjaya Tinggi Malaysia di Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam dari 2005 hingga 2007. Beliau juga pernah berkhidmat di Perwakilan Malaysia di Sri Lanka dan Argentina. Sebelum dilantik sebagai Duta Besar Malaysia ke Kazakhstan, Dato’ Hidayat merupakan Timbalan Ketua Pengarah, Pusat Serantau Asia Tenggara bagi Mencegah Keganasan (Southeast Asia Regional Centre for Counter Terrorism - SEARCCT).
Encik Lim Juay Jin
Bakal Pesuruhjaya Tinggi Malaysia ke Nigeria
Encik Lim Juay Jin telah mula berkhidmat di Kementerian Luar Negeri pada tahun 1992. Beliau pernah bertugas di Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Bangkok, Thailand dan Beijing, Republik Rakyat China. Beliau juga pernah ditempatkan sebagai Pegawai Khas kepada Menteri Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan, YB Dato’ Seri Ong Ka Ting dari 2003 hingga 2007. Sebelum dilantik sebagai Pesuruhjaya Tinggi Malaysia ke Nigeria, Encik Lim memegang jawatan Pengarah Latihan di Institut Diplomasi dan Hubungan Luar Negeri (Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations - IDFR).
Puan Nadzirah Osman
Bakal Duta Besar Malaysia ke Republik Czech
Puan Nadzirah Osman telah berkhidmat dengan Kementerian Luar Negeri sejak tahun 1994. Beliau pernah berkhidmat di Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Mexico City, Mexico dari 1997 hingga 2001 dan di Suruhanjaya Tinggi Malaysia di London, United Kingdom dari 2004 hingga 2009. Sebelum dilantik sebagai Duta Besar Malaysia ke Republik Czech, Puan Nadzirah memegang jawatan sebagai Setiausaha Bahagian Pengurusan Sumber Manusia, Kementerian Luar Negeri.
Cik Sharrina Abdullah
Bakal Duta Besar Malaysia ke Senegal
Cik Sharrina Abdullah telah berkhidmat dengan Kementerian Luar Negeri sejak tahun 1994. Jawatan penting yang pernah disandang beliau termasuklah Setiausaha Bahagian Penyelidikan, Triti dan Perundangan Antarabangsa dari 2009 hingga 2011 dan Timbalan Ketua Perwakilan di Kedutaan Besar Malaysia di Paris, Perancis dari 2006 hingga 2009. Beliau juga pernah berkhidmat di Suruhanjaya Tinggi Malaysia di Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam dari 1996 hingga 2000. Sebelum dilantik sebagai Duta Besar Malaysia ke Senegal, Cik Sharrina bertugas sebagai Setiausaha Bahagian Asia Selatan dan Asia Tengah, Kementerian Luar Negeri.

APPOINTMENT OF NEW
AMBASSADORS AND HIGH COMMISSIONERS OF MALAYSIA
Eight (8) new Heads of Mission received their Letter of Appointment from Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah in a ceremony on Tuesday, 7 January 2014at Istana Negara. The Heads of Mission are as follows:
Dato’ Ahmad Rasidi Bin Hazizi
High Commissioner-designate of Malaysia to the United Kingdom
Dato’ Ahmad Rasidi Bin Hazizi is a senior career diplomat who has served the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1979. Key positions he has held include Chief of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia from 2009 to 2011, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Philippines from 2006 to 2009, and Ambassador of Malaysia to Lao PDR from 2004 to 2006 and Consul General of Malaysia in Hong Kong SAR from 1998 to 2002. He has also served at Malaysian Missions in the United States, Indonesia and Turkey. Prior to his assignment as the Malaysian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dato’ Ahmad Rasidi was the Ambassador to Kazakhstan.
Mr. Amran Bin Mohamed Zin
Ambassador-designate of Malaysia to Turkey
Mr. Amran Bin Mohamed Zin joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1994. Key positions held include Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Malaysia in Jakarta, Indonesia from 2008 to 2010 and Deputy Permanent Representative of Malaysia to the United Nations (UN) in Geneva, Switzerland from 2004 to 2008. He has also served at the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to the UN in New York, United States from 1996 to 2001. Prior to his appointment as the new Ambassador of Malaysia to Turkey, Mr. Amran held the position as the Under Secretary of South East Asia 1 Division at the Ministry.
Dato’ Mohd Zulkephli Bin Mohd Nor
Ambassador-designate of Malaysia to Switzerland
Dato’ Mohd Zulkephli Bin Mohd Nor was appointed as the Administrative and Diplomatic Officer in 1984. Prior to his appointment as the Ambassador of Malaysia to Switzerland, Dato’ Mohd Zulkephli served as the Ambassador of Malaysia to Turkmenistan from 2011 to 2013 and as the Ambassador of Malaysia to Libya from 2009 to 2011. He has also served at the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to the United Nations (UN) in Geneva, Switzerland and at the Consulate General of Malaysia in Los Angeles, United States.

Ambassador Kennedy Jawan has served the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1989. Key positions he has held include Counsellor at the Embassy of Malaysia in Washington D.C. from 2002 to 2005 and First Secretary at the Embassy of Malaysia in Yangon, Myanmar from 1995 to 1999. He has also served at the Embassy of Malaysia in Japan from 1992 to 1995. Prior to his appointment as the Ambassador of Malaysia to Spain, Ambassador Kennedy Jawan was the High Commissioner of Malaysia to South Africa from 2008 to 2013.
Dato’ Hidayat Bin Abdul Hamid
Ambassador-designate of Malaysia to Kazakhstan
Dato’ Hidayat Bin Abdul Hamid joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1992. Key positions he has held include Consul General of Malaysia in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 2007 to 2011 and Counsellor at the High Commission of Malaysia in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam from 2005 to 2007. He has also served at Malaysian Missions in Sri Lanka and Argentina. Prior to his assignment as the Malaysian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Dato’ Hidayat was the Deputy Director General, Southeast Asia Regional Centre for Counter Terrorism (SEARCCT).
Mr. Lim Juay Jin
High Commissioner-designate of Malaysia to Nigeria
Mr. Lim Juay Jin joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1992. His first assignment overseas was at the Embassy of Malaysia in Bangkok. He was seconded as the Special Officer to the Minister of Housing and Local Government, Y.B. Dato’ Seri Ong Ka Ting from 2003 to 2007. He has also served at Malaysian Mission in Beijing, People’s Republic of China. Prior to his assignment as the Malaysian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr. Lim was the Director of Training at the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR).
Mdm. Nadzirah Bte Osman
Ambassador-designate of Malaysia to the Czech Republic
Mdm. Nadzirah Osman has served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1994. Her first assignment overseas was at the Embassy of Malaysia in Mexico City, Mexico from 1997 to 2001. She has also served at the High Commission of Malaysia in London, United Kingdom from 2004 to 2009. Prior to her appointment as the new Ambassador of Malaysia to the Czech Republic, Mdm. Nadzirah was the Under Secretary of Human Resource Management Division at the Ministry.

Ms. Sharrina Abdullah has served the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1994. Key positions held include Under Secretary, Department of Research, Treaty and International Law from 2009 to 2011 and Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Malaysia in Paris, France from 2006 to 2009. She has also served at the High Commission of Malaysia in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam from 1996 to 2000. Prior to her appointment as the new Ambassador of Malaysia to Senegal, Ms. Sharrina served as the Under Secretary of South and Central Asia at the Ministry.
