KENYATAAN TERBARU WISMA PUTRA MENGENAI SITUASI DI MESIR.

THE SITUATION IN EGYPT

Malaysia is deeply concerned over the incident of the two South Korean tourists who were killed in a suicide bomb attack at the resort town of Taba, South Sinai, Egypt.

Malaysia regrets the unnecessary loss of lives in the incident and urges all parties to refrain from violence.

Due to the prevailing security situation and continuing political uncertainties in Egypt, Wisma Putra wishes to reiterate its earlier travel advisory and urges all Malaysians to defer or reschedule their non-essential travel to Egypt.

Wisma Putra is currently coordinating closely with the Embassy of Malaysia in Cairo, Egypt to monitor the situation to ensure the safety and security of all Malaysians.
